MacHost offers immediate response, free of charge, to questions related to server or network performance including requests to install newly uploaded databases.

Questions about internet performance issues could be the result of issues anywhere along the internet between your plug-in point and ours. If we see a problem at our end, we'll tell you straight out. If it's a problem outside our network, we'll help locate the source for an additional network service fee of $87.50. Alternatively, you can run Trace Route from your node to ours.

Value Plans For Experienced Webmasters
MacHost pricing plans are primarily designed for experienced Mac web designers who already know the ins and outs of FTP and web construction. At basic hosting plan prices, we do not offer advice on software, web design, ftp or email beyond the basics on how to configure your software to access our systems. Technical Support such as this is available as a service option.

Welcome To MacHost Orientation
New MacHost customers receive a welcome letter confirming their hosting plan, options, passwords and special access information. This is important time-saving information that savvy MacHost customers keep handy. Each letter also provides helpful tips for a smooth, fast launch of your website with MacHost.

We Support You By Email
You can always e-mail questions or comments about our server environment/performance to MacHost Support and we will respond quickly. During business hours, you're likely to receive a response in 15 minutes. We also respond to email after hours, but during those times we are also performing other network chores. 99% of our emails are answered in the same day.

We Support You By Phone
During a special set up phase or transitional period for your website, telephone support can be purchased. As a paid support customer, you will have access to on-site staff, trained in the configuration and operation of our servers and network. You'll be talking to staff who have the answers you need, that's our pledge.
